Dennis Bovell has just released AKOUSTIK, his first new studio album for many years, featuring acoustic versions of his best known songs plus a couple of previously unreleased tunes from his extraordinarily deep catalogue. Currently only available on vinyl from Dennis’s Bandcamp site (dennisbovell.bandcamp.com) with streaming and download sites coming soon.
Alex’s co-written song “From The Top” has now had over a million streams on Spotify – her first million milestone. The track, featuring Alex’s lead vocal, was recorded with The Wickeed who are two Belgian producers and DJs and was released by Universal France last year.
Sir Cliff Richard has recorded Steve Balsamo’s song “Gonna Be Alright” on his Christmas Album “Rise Up”. The song was chosen from multiple submissions for what is Cliff’s first album of new material in many years and it is an honour to be included.
